Lenovo IdeaPad S10-3, More Thin with Sweet Design

One of the products on show at the exhibition Lenovo Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2010 is an advanced Series IdeaPad S10-3 that comes with thin design and sweet.

At first glance, S10-3 does have a fairly nice compared to previous series. This netbook comes with an elegant design look brushed metal bandage on several sides.

In terms of processor, Lenovo has included S10-3 at 'party' Pine Trail, held by Intel. Intel Atom N450 Proseor claimed its better than the S10 series, S10-2 or earlier. Even for multi-tasking activities classmates office.

The first impression when I saw this netbook is a more elegant shape and sweet from the previous S10. If S10 and S10-2 predominantly white, S10-3 now comes with a combination of black and dark brown color.

From the weight and thinness, S10-3 belonging to the thin netbook, if compared to series Acer Aspire One, MSI, or HP mini note. Although armed with 6 cell battery also does not appear to stand out like the HP mini note or MSI. Unfortunately when you shake it, there are few parts of the less tightly to the side between the battery and the body.

For covers, S10-3 consists of a combination of plastic material with a brushed metal Cora on the keyboard. Then the back of the monitor is now wrapped with a small plaid design that seems to shine, if there is a light that bounces. Plus with LED backlit panels yan cool in the eyes. Very beautiful and comfortable.

Keyboard & Touchpad

Lenovo's S10 also revolutionized the previous typical keyboard. Now with chiclet-style keyboard, S10-3 feels much leih resposif if used for typing than the previous S10 series. When used for rapid typing, this keyboard sounds 'print-shallow'. In general, S10-3 keyboard feels relieved than other netbooks due to design full-sizenya.

Another one of the most interesting part of this netbook is Touchpad. Lenovo has changed the overall look of the touchpad becomes more simple. Panel right click and left, have now become one with the touchpad buried, wrapped in a brushed metal motif slippery.

By design, it looks really interesting. But unfortunately, when used to perform drag & drop in a file, this device feels slippery. Unfortunately, the left and right click buttons become hard, seem less responsive.

Performance: Batteries isnot Disappointing

In testing, netbook works with Wi-fi switch, the default setting until netbook is dead. Result, the IdeaPad S10-3 is able to survive in the duration of approximately 5 hours. Did not disappoint.

For other needs such as YouTube to watch streaming full HD, and perform multi-tasking office work, the IdeaPad S10-3 is far more smoothly than the previous S10-2. This is all because the latest Intel Atom N450 processor, with 1GB of RAM memory.

This netbook has a maximum resolution of 1024 x 600. When used for browsing, typing with Microsoft Office, sembili listening to the file. Mp3, netbook is running quite smoothly.

Body laptop is a bit warm, although the design of air circulation under the body appears evenly. When used to type about two hours, somehow feels a little hot hand. This may be because the design is made from brushed metal instead of plastic. In this case IdeaPad S10-two more were cold.

More loudly with Dolby Certification

For business-quality voice IdeaPad S10 netbook has three, including audio quality above average. With its Dolby certification, treble voice and vocal music format. Mp3, now with more bass out. Even with the settings to maximize the audio volume does not mute the music to be broken. Users also can use headphones to listen to sound more personal.

Who fits users who wear IdeaPad S10-3's this? Lenovo was definitely a loyal customer following compulsory use of these products as their second PC.

Users of previous series IdeaPad S10 netbook to upgrade them, no need to switch brands. Netbook at 499 USD is now going to create loyal customers become more loyal Lenovo.

In general, S10-3 is also suitable for use among high school and college students, or bloggers who have high mobility. The reason is very simple thin design to be stored in a bag. Chiclet keyboard plus voice and sweet, this netbook is interesting to own.
